Carter Graham - Great pianist from Canada and spent a lot of time with him at MSU! 

Allan Vizzuti - Great trumpeter and Jon Faddis thinks I looked like him when younger. LOL

Xavier Davis - Turns 50 today. Got to play with him in GR at St. Cecilia. He was on TB! Comes from an amazing family that is dear to my heart! 

Mary Rademacher Reed - Dear friend who I think I met through Bob Taylor and the Midtown Horns! 

Sam McIlhagga - Sam is my good friend from my days at GVSC then GVSU LOL That's how old we are! So blessed to call him friend and he got me through some days. I'll have the husky without the kraut! :)

Steve Turre - Great jazz trombonist

Josh Dargavell - Josh was one of my GA's and great guy! Had the honor of attending his wedding this summer! 

Brian Lynch - Brian is a great trumpeter. We had him for a tour and all I remember is I don't remember him ever not playing his trumpet. Even between songs he was practicing. True inspiration! 

Harry Connick Jr. - I met Harry when he was about 19. I've been a fan since. He came to MSU a while back and gave such an inspirational talk. Continued success to this very talented gentleman!

Liz Kibble - Friend for a long time! Miss seeing her and Mark and I need to make another trip down to Nashville to do breakfast again soon!

Austin Muthyala - A former student that I'm so proud of!

Elvin Jones - All you can say is Elvin. Transformed the way drums are played. Seen here with the great James Williams! I took this at an IAJE Convention. 

Ricky Riccardi - It is our love of Pops that has brought us together but Ricky is the foremost authority of all things Louis Armstrong. His scholarship is unparalleled but the great thing about it, is how he wants to spread the love of Satchmo. Ricky gave me one of the greatest pleasures and allowed me to play on some of Louis's trumpets. A day I will never forget. Thank you Ricky and Pops is Tops!

Sarah Straayer - My youngest sister born on this day. Hard to believe she is 41 because I took care of her as a baby! Seems like yesterday! Much love to you Sis! 

Mike Harvey - Mike gave me my first drum set, for that I will always be grateful! He is a great drummer in Fl now and I get to see him most trips down that way! 

Dr. Dennis Horton - Was my trumpet teacher at CMU and forever grateful for his influence in my musical development! 

Gerald Wilson - One of the great composers and arrangers 

Peter Bernstein - Amazing guitarist and even nicer guy! Had a great tour with him with MSU a few years back! Blessed to know him!
