Bill Johnson - Pastor Johnson has been my spiritual mentor from afar for the last 20 years. I've never met him or seen him in person (although that will change in October) I'm so thankful for his example, wisdom, and courage. Pastor turns 70 today! 

Barry Sanders - Both of these birthdays today are people I've not really met or have pictures of but still want to celebrate. I feel so fortunate to be able to have been alive to watch Barry play every week. I did see him play live and actually stood right next to him once when I was at a game with a marching band that was the entertainment. I loved that Barry was a class act and my favorite line of his when he was asked why he doesn't celebrate after a touchdown was " I act like I've been there before". He made being a lion fan in those days fun wether they won or not because he could break 5 tackles before the line of scrimmage. LOL
