Kenny Barron - Mr. Barron was a guest artist at MSU and got to spend the most wonderful week with him. Weather was not good that week and had events cancelled due to snow, ice, and really cold temps. It's been the only time I've ever been thankful for snow and cold because we couldn't go to the school, we ended up doing a radio interview and I basically got a solo concert sitting 2 ft from the piano. A moment I will never forget. Mr. Barron was so kind and generous and truly is one of the great pianist of jazz history! 

Mark Byerly- Mark is a great trumpeter who has played with so many people! Mark mixed my last CD and I could not have been happier. He worked so hard to get it right with such varied recordings. I felt we were always on the same page and cannot wait to work with him again on the next one. And is an amazingly nice cat!!!!

Jocelyn Gould - Jocelyn is an amazing guitarist doing amazing things now. We met at MSU and couldn't be more happy for all the success she is having now!
